BHQ Exclusive Spyderco Paramilitary 2 CPM-M4 w/Jade G10
User in very good condition. A couple things to note.
First, there is some oxidation on the blade. Some patina mixed with what looks minor speckled rust. I took the knife apart and polished the entire blade with Flitz. It's hard to see what I'm talking about because the Flitz did such a great job, but I tried to capture it in the photos as best I could. Tang area is very clean with only two or three teeny speckles. There appears to be a little in the jimping as well, but it's not bad.
Second, during disassembly I clamped down too hard on the bottom backspacer. The indentation makes it not sit quite flush with the liner. It's purely cosmetic as far as I can tell, but still worth mentioning. I tried to capture this in the photos as well.
One bonus for whoever gets this is that you won't have to wrestle with red loctite (!) if you decide to disassemble for cleaning. They slathered the screws with this stuff and it was really tough to take apart. I used blue loctite during reassembly (why Spyderco didn't do this to begin with is beyond me). I'll also mention that not once did the torx driver slip. So all the screws are in great condition.
Opening/closing is very smooth and lockup is rock solid. Zero lock stick when I open with my thumb. Very small amount when I middle finger flick. Centering is good, but not perfect. Scales are very clean as you can see and still grippy. Has never been sharpened, only stropped. Comes with box and all original materials. Price: $160 SOLD
