Knife has been used minimally as a paring knife in the kitchen and has the beginning of a patina which I really couldn't capture in these photos. I was careful not to get food or water in the pivot as I just wanted to give it some extra protection with the patina. It is visible as you rotate the knife under light. Other than that the knife has not left my house. It has fantastic action, IMO, better than any other Spyderco I've had right out of the box. The centering appears to favor the presentation side a bit but I seem to remember it being perfectly centered when I received it. It may have loosened up a bit from flicking it open. I have not tried to adjust it. The original Spyderco clip is included with the sale.
