This is a redo of a previous knife. I gave it a thinner flat grind, the edge now sits at .007 BTE. I also further refined the clip point and gave a more pronounced swedge. Then re-profiled the handle for more comfortable use. Lastly gave it a new set of pants as a pocket clip sheath.
The intent was to make a fixed blade model of the classic folding hunter/trapper. The blade is 3 inches, flat ground CPM S90V (62 HRC) with a hand satin finish. Tang is (of course) tapered. The handle is Ivory linen micarta with black and white G10 liners. Secured with a stainless large Corby, system 3 epoxy and a stainless and black micarta lanyard tube. OAL is ~7 inches, making this one thin and comfortable for front pocket carry. The front, below the ricasso, features added jimping for indexing.
Hand stitched Black leather pocket clip sheath.
$OLD shipped in the US.
