Up for sale is my beloved Precista PRS-50. If you are not familiar with this now modern but rare time piece you need to play catch-up ASAP. This is one of the best functional, quality and performance per dollar EDC watch out there.
It's a beautiful watch with hardly any wear time and signs of use. Mechanics, aesthetics and time-keeping are all spot-on.
Includes the original double watch case from TimeFactors (One two-watch travel case from Banda) as well as the paperwork, International warranty card which shows build date and signature and original polishing cloth.
Also included is a Crown & Buckle Leather NATO style strap along with the original Precista 1970's styled retro black rubber and also a matching blue rubber strap of the same design. You get three straps with this purchase.
The lume on BOTH the bezel and watch face are brilliant and done in Super Luminova C3. Jack at IWW re-lumed the dial and hands just over a year ago. It will hold its lume for quite some time.
The case and AR Sapphire crystal are flawless.
This is a TANK of a watch which can take anything but still retains a civilized and dress up or dress down look and appearance. It's truly a limited and hard to find watch these days.
If you are playing catch-up, the PRS-50 is an Hommage to the Blancpain 50 fathoms. IT IS NOT A FAKE or COPY of the Blancpain, simply an affordable rendition with similar properties. Keep in mind the movement is Swiss ETA 2824-2 with date.
