Hi guys,
I've been messing around with Hamon lately and wanted to try something a little different. I went for a small cloud or bubble of Hamon as a place keeper for my logo. The steel is 1095 triple thermal cycled and heat treated in my Evenheat kiln to RC60. The handle is natural micarta with bronze pins. The sheath is Kydex with a reversible belt strap for right or left hand horizontal carry. This should make a nice hunter or EDC.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.5"
Blade: 4.25" long, 1.5" wide, full flat grind hand sanded to 1200 grit revealing "cloud" hamon.
Steel: 0.156" 1095 thermal cycled and heat treated in my Evenheat kiln, tempered to RC60.
Handle: Natural micarta with bronze pins.
Sheath: Kydex with reversible belt strap for R or L hand horizontal carry.
