When was this knife purchased new? I'm not that familiar with Hinderer but some sites advertise a Gen 6 Eklipse but you say Gen 3 is latest for Eklipse. Not sure if they're calling them Gen 6 bec they assume Tri-Way makes them Gen 6, or what. Seems like the Eklipse hasn't been around long enough to have six gens.
 
Just recently purchased, part of Hinderers latest drops. Gen 3 is the latest version of Eklipses, XM-18s are Gen 6.
 
I see you say exactly as rec'd from factory but what sort of mark is that on the clip side near the base of the lockbar? Visible in both pics.
 
Not sure what that is but am sure I received it that way (photos taken literally seconds after opening the box). Stonewash Ti has inclusions, cannot feel this one at all. Happy to provide additional images.

Okay would you mind taking a closer look at that mark on the clip side and sending some more pics? I get that it is exactly how you rec'd it and have not damaged it but I'd like to know what it looks like in more detail. Of course Ti has inclusions but it's been thru stonewash process and still seems prominent but I know that pics can exaggerate things. I just placed a CL ad for a guitar and a pic made a tiny depression look like a divot when you can barely see it in person.
