here is a nice Pro Tech TR3 Acid Washed knife that I picked up on BF recently. it arrived with a week spring. Protech sent me a new spring. Those guys are great!
now the knife is snappy snappy with it being broken in and with a new spring.
there is a small amount of black coating (last pic) let on the end of the scales that I wasn't aware of when I bought it.
