I have for sale a First Production Run ProTech Brend 3. The Brend 3 is the intermediate size between the large Brend 1 and the petite Brend 2.
This knife was produced in 2009, S/N 331, and I am the original owner. I carried it sparsely when first acquired, but afterwards it has spent almost all of the past four years in the safe.
The blade is a 3.75" 154-CM DLC coated clip point. There are a couple of very light marks, but otherwise pristine blade with original edge - never sharpened and to the best of my recollection never cut anything except perhaps paper. There is absolutely zero rust or corrosion. I believe the photos portray the knife accurately.
The handle is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with ivory micarta inlays and SS hardware. There are a few light rubs on the flats of the handle as well as a couple on the spine - none are glaring.
The action is crisp and strong, the blade fires out with authority and a nicely satisfying "thunk". Lock up is solid, no play.
As a carry knife I would call this 95%, barring only the slight imperfections. As a collector, I unfortunately do not have the box or any paperwork.
Asking $200, $175 NET due to lack of box and blemishes. Open to reasonable offers. Now asking $150.00 NET SOLD otherwise I'll just keep it..
