The ProTech Tactical Response TR-3 X1 knife features a "fish scale" pattern on the slender, well designed handle. This is the unique and very hard to findX1 W.S. Prototype chosen for use by the Navy Seals that features a safety (not usually found on Protech auto knives except the TR4) and the blade is made of CPM-D2 steel rather than 154-CM stainless steel. A much more superior steel for a knife blade than 154-CM.
The fast opening automatic knife has a multi-task 3.5" blade that on this version is all black. The handle is machined from solid bars of T-6 aluminum. It is tapered from front to back to make for a more comfortable and slender ride in your pocket. The Tactical Response series knives are the perfect size for every day carry. The auto button pops the blade right out and it has a solid snap to it. Comes with a tip up pocket clip that is set so you can carry the knife deep in the pocket.
