It’s time for this monster to find a good home! This guitar was a one-off for Brian’s Guitars (yes, THAT Brian’s Guitars) and I was lucky enough to land it on my wall.
This one has a *one-piece* flamed maple top, hand selected by Brian and Paul themselves. The neck is flamed as well. Being a 24-08, the pickups are independently switchable from humbucker to single-coil. You want big booming vintage humbuckers? You’ve got it. Spanky Strat tones? Absolutely. The frets are like glass on the African Blackwood fretboard with abalone bird inlays. Arguably one of the most effortless best-playing guitars I’ve ever felt, let alone owned. Tuning stability is second only to an Evertune guitar. The open tuners are extremely precise, if you need to tune the guitar at all.
Comes with the original factory paisley hardshell case, all of the case candy/tremolo arm, and a matching strap. Condition is subjective…from 2 feet away, it’s flawless. If you get it in the right light at the right angle you might see some hairline scratches on the pickup rings and *maybe* a few invisible marks on the back? The chrome pickup covers have the slightest hint of play wear on them (could be buffed out, I kind of like it). Theres a small finish check/crack near the tremolo, but it's almost impossible to photograph, and you have to search it out to know it's there. I’ve purchased factory-new Gibson’s with more marks and dings than this one has, and I am not even slightly exaggerating.
