Here's a very nice original bowie from Puma. It looks to be Brand New Never Used but since I bought it from someone other then a dealer. I'll call it MINT. It comes with the original box and Brown Leather sheath. No paperwork. The sheath has the Puma logo and is in Excellent condition. The box is solid BUT it is worn with marks on the edges from being moved around. . The specs are below:
6-1/2" SS Blade, 11" OAL, STAG handles secured by 3 rivets with brass washers and a brass lined lanyard hole, SS guard, includes a heavy brown leather sheath with the PUMA logo on the front, The blade has the PUMA logo and reads "116396 HANDMADE PUMA ORIGINAL BOWIE GERMANY 07/RC". I believe the blade steel is 440C but not sure. The Stag handles scales are really nice and thick. All in all a very nice example of the original bowie.
