This light and fast knife would work very well as a discreet carry MBC oriented defensive knife, or general purpose EDC slicer. I made the serrations individually by hand, with the purpose of being an optimal balanced between aggressive cutting, and ease of sharpening, which can be done easily on the corners of the Sharp Maker stones, or any similarly shaped stones or sharpening rods. I made the handle Micarta for lightness, textured for grip, and chamfered for comfort. The spine is also chamfered for comfort in thumb driven cuts. This is a thin knife meant for extreme slicing performance, and not for stabbing into hard objects, though it will pierce very well for initiating cuts into meat, boxes, blister packs and similar packaging. It destroyed rope with ease.

Holstex is a thermoplastic like Kydex, but with an artistic design molded into the outer surface. It has the same durability and resistance to the elements as Kydex.
