Hey Folks,

I have a new Raptor hawk up for grabs. Made from .375" 4140. OAL is 9.5" and weighs 1lb. 6oz. This axe is fully hardened and triple tempered to retain maximum Rc of 55. The tang is tapered assuring a forward weighted feel without feeling hand heavy and triple torch drawn to a spring temper for added durability. This axe was used in the field on a big game hunt before it was finished out. Performed nicely. As a result I am offering it at a reduced price. Asking SOLD shipped. Axe comes with felt lined kydex sheath, black oxide finish and browned natural micarta handles.

Wow. This is a very nice axe. I have a huge purchase coming up, or else I'd probably bite. Someone snatch this up!
 
Will you be making more of these? I love the size, excellent! Very attractive, I would bite if budget was not so tight.
 
Yes sir this is a standard design for me. I do have four other axe designs that I make as well. I have two more sets of Ironwood scales for these axes as well....to class things up.
 
This is definitely not your grandfather's hatchet. We see a fair share of hatchets here, but your style is my favorite. I remember one other one you did I was a big fan of.
 
Dave, if this one is still available, I'll take it. I've been meaning to get a littlest something for the camp site, and this looks to fit the bill nicely. I really like the tapered tang to keep the balance toward the head. Let me know your paypal and I'll get you the funds. Thanks!
