RARE Very limited release!!! The Dying Earth by Jack Vance and illustrated by George Barr. Both men autographed this edition. This was limited to just 52 copies (I believe these were prototypes) other editions are limited to 250 and 500 copies. This one is more rare than those!! Recently copies have sold between $600-$1000. SOLD!!!

Nope. Just another relic of several decades looting & pillaging used bookstores, library fundraisers, yard sales, etc. Vance is a longtime favorite. Most of his work combined old school space opera, done just about right, with extravagantly exotic detailed pictures of alien/human cultures in faroff places. Good stuff regardless. But with a special exotic allure to a kid who grew up on a farm in Dogpatch Kansas.
