This is the rare 1246. These just dont come up very often. The knife is good shape overall but does have some minor blemishes as seen in the photos. The rear pommel is a bit off. This seems to have come like this from the factory. Its rock solid but just at a slight angle. Maybe 5%ish? Its really only noticeable if you really look at it. The edge appears to be factory original but could use a sharpening. I have never sharpened the edge. The knife comes with the Kydex sheath. I originally had the leather sheath but swapped it with another member here on BF who had this sheath.
I had intended this knife to be my main user but have since altered course a bit and its just not getting any use. I typically dont collect knives just to have them so I've decided to move it. If someone is looking to add a rare hard to find Ka-Bar to their collection, this would be a great addition.
First "Ill take" it gets the knife. You know the drill.
