This is a 4 1/4" knife with a 2" cutting edge that I made from a World War Two Cattaraugus 225-Q military commando blade. It is new and never used in its present condition. The original knife was well used and abused. I reground the bevels but the knife still shows age and previous use. There are hammer marks on the spine and grind marks on the top false edge. It retains most of its original patina. It's sharpened and ready to be used. Great knife for discreet carry. Comes with a custom, natural veg. tanned leather slip sheath. The knife fits snugly in the sheath and must be inverted and tapped to remove the knife. The full welt is shaped to the blade so the knife fits in one direction only. 1095 steel. SOLD shipped anywhere within the USA and its protectorates. Contact me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com

Thank you.
Yes, I retained the original heat treatment during shaping by working slowly and quenching often, never allowing the steel to become hot.
Don't resist. Its only money and what good is it if we don't turn it into the things we want.

Ha! Ha! That's a great sentiment and my philosophy but don't think my wife would agree ;)

Had one of those, had to get me another. I'll be climbing 40 foot elm trees today to trim them with a chain saw, wife won't be helping.
Like your signature quote. I'll be 58 in May.
