Hey Folks,

I have another mid size hawk available fresh off the bench. OAL is 11.5" with a 6" head width. This axe weighs approx. 1lb. 10oz. Made from .375" 4140. Fully hardened to Rc. 55 and triple tempered for maximum retained hardness. The tapered tang is then drawn to a spring temper three more times to make for a resilient tool. The steel is finished with my etched primeval finish. The handles are of brown dyed canvas micarta. This axe has a pry bar end on the butt of the handle. Comes with a felt lined kydex sheath like the one shown with leather belt loops.

Have one of these myself and it is a great "little" hawk. Dave's sheath is also one of the best too.

I will get one of theses eventually. Money wise I can not do it for awhile, but I will with in the next couple of years. My favorite one of yours so far. Excellent job.

Sounds good Nate! I think you'll find that axe to be very handy on the trail or in the field/backyard.
