Rick Dunkerley is an award winning ABS Mastersmith currently working out of Montana. This hunter was forged from high carbon steel and measures 8-5/8” with a 4” hand rubbed blade (1” wide at the ricasso, .153” thick).
It has a mortised amber stag handle held with 2 stainless pins. It’s finished off with a black spacer, and an engraved stainless guard also done by Rick (he made the sheath as well). The mortised stag was done perfectly with no gaps. Blade doesn’t appear to have ever been used, there are a few very faint pepper spots from storage.
