SOLD!!!
I have had this for a few years and it is time to let it go. It has been carried gently in a protective belt pouch (that will not come with the knife) perhaps 5-10 times in the time I have had it. Believe me--I am sad to see this go, but I just don't carry it enough to justify keeping it. Hopefully it will find a great new home. It will come with a padded zippered case.
Scales on this are beautifully matched mammoth ivory in perfect condition. No cracks or chips anywhere. The federal shield, bolsters, and liners are all 416 stainless. Blades are CPM154. Main blade is 2-7/8" with a long nail nick and the secondary blade is 1-7/8". She is 6-3/8" long fully open and 3-1/2" closed. There are half-stops on both blades. While I am not the original owner, I believe it has not been sharpened from the time that it was brand new. The blades feel quite sharp. Pull on the blades is in the 6-7 range.
Because this has been carried, there are extremely minor handling marks, such as on the bolsters. I can see that in very bright light at certain angles, but there is no way I could photograph them. That said, I have no doubt it would take Rick all of about 10 seconds to eliminate them if that is what the buyer wants. Unless you have a sharp eye and are looking for them, frankly you don't even see them.
NO trades on this please. The first unequivocal "I'll take it!" here in this thread will get her.
This very exceptional knife from Rick will not disappoint and can be yours for $899 shipped CONUS with payment by Paypal G&S.
