This is Aldo's 1084fg forged and finished with a hammer texture and a good soak in ferric chloride for color.
The handle is Ringed Desert Gidgee, a wood native to Australia. "Gidgee is a type of Acacia that grows in desert and arid areas of Western Australia. Being a type of Acacia, a lot of the wood will look a lot like Koa, but darker coloring. The density of Gidgee is comparable to that of Desert Ironwood. The Australians call the figured Gidgee "Ringed". In my opinion Ringed Gidgee is the Ultimate Knife Handle wood." Quote from Mark Farley of Burl Source.
Handle has 1/8" mosaic pins and black G10 spacers. Tooled leather sheath included. Price SOLD shipped in the US. Shipping charge increase for overseas or Canada. Thanks to all for looking and have a great day. -Burton Harruff
