For sale is a Rodent Solution in the best possible color/handle combo (IMO) - Tanker Gray & Black Canvas. This color combo is not currently available from the shop. With all of the new blades coming out, it is always possible that it will never be offered again. Then again, who knows.

The Blade
The RS is such a perfectly designed blade - the ergonomics, the blade thickness, the appearance, I could go on and on. The handle is especially where it shines; it somehow fits perfectly in all size hands and the handles that were matched with my RS are gorgeous. I had plans to strip this blade, but life happens.The ONLY reason I am parting with it is because I need the money and my BAD has replaced it.
It has been carried on the shoulder strap of my pack on several outdoors expeditions, but has not seen any hard use, or much use at all. I have cut a few things with it (mostly paper,) but that's about it. There is very insignificant smoothing to the coating along the edge (shown in pic before lanyards.) The knife could use a sharpening, as it came dull and slightly uneven from the factory. When I say uneven, I don't mean that the angles are uneven, I mean that the exposed edge is ever so slightly higher on one side of the blade. It takes a discerning eye to see this. I have given the blade maybe 10 passes on my sharpmaker, but in the process decided that I would convex it instead, which I never got around to. The blade is extremely close to what I would deem factory new, but for caution sake, I will not call it that.

The Sheath
It comes with an extremely aesthetically pleasing Digi Cam sheath made by AZWelke, which matches the blade perfectly, has excellent retention (good enough to carry upside down like I did,) unsheathes the blade like butter, and leaves no marks on the blade. The sheath has two small surface marks/slashes on one side, which in no way affect the integrity of the sheath. Honestly, I have no clue how they got there. I first noticed them when I was attaching the sheath to my pack for the first time when I had just gotten the sheath.
Also included is a well made beaded lanyard that matches the blade nicely. If you prefer another lanyard, I have a woodland camo one that I can add in lieu of the beaded lanyard, or I can send it with no lanyard if you prefer. See the last two pictures below.
$140 (add $10 if you want the Tek Lok) Shipped (~$123 shipped from Swamp Rat + $35 for the sheath + $13 for the tek lok = $171.) Save $21 on a near factory fresh knife with a great sheath & lanyard.
