Sold"Rough Country" recurve hunter, forged from W2 round bar, 5" blade, 9-1/4" overall length, 1/4" thick at ricasso, tapered tang. Flats left as forged, bevels have belt finish. Convex edge with a hint of recurve. Handle is Curly Ash, with tru oil finish. Price is $250 as shown, or $295 with sheath, includes shipping. Payment by paypal or USPS m.o. only. Thanks for looking! Great looking stuff, that wood is stunning and goes very well with the blade finish.
 
thanks fellas, and the pics are a bit decieving, this is one stout knife, should have taken some photos in hand etc.
 
lol I am not sure how I was deceived but this knife yelled at me "slayer" . There are two points I love about it, the bevel to the cutting edge, and the placement of the spine ridge. I LOVE unique knives and know enough about physics to know that the bevel to edge means nothing structurally. How long is the handle by chance? I love this knife.
 
I just measured again, the handle is a bit longer then I first listed, its just under 4-3/4", ive goet a medium/large hand it feels very good to me. Hard to tell in the pics but it swells a bit both front and back.
 
I really like the way the grinds and swedge frame just a bit of rough flats. That is one helluva hunter Matt.
