Hello Folks, The blade is from a mid 70's Ford leaf spring. Of course Rudy liked to use old Studebaker leaf springs. This blade is another blade that has been hanging on a nail for many years. It is from before the turn of the Century when I first started making knives. This knife is a work horse and made to be used. I guess you can say its built Ford tough. lol. I need to let this knife go for a discount to help pay for my new Heat treat furnace. Hope you like it. Of course everyone knows Rudy would cast his handles in aluminum. His knives are built like a TANK.
Blade is 5160 leaf spring. .195 thick and 4.875 tip to guard. O/A is 9.375. Heat treated and double tempered to 57-58 RC.
Guard is brass carefully silver soldered.
Handle is of very nice ironwood with African blackwood, ironwood, brass, and black accents. Pommel is 7075 aircraft aluminum with brass plug.
Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather.
Asking (SOLD) shipped in the USA. My paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com Thank you all for looking. Alan
