Hello all,
I just finished this one up recently and am putting it up for grabs tonight. It's a 130mm San Mai Kitchen Petty knife that has a Hitachi Blue #2 core with stainless cladding. It was made by Randy Haas at HHH knives. It's heat treated to RC63. The handle is beautiful curly Koa and African Blackwood bolsters. The cap and spacer is copper with a black G10 pinstripe. It's light and nimble and cuts like crazy.
SPECS:
OAL: 280mm
BLADE: 130mm (5") long, 30mm (1.75") heel height Compound Full flat and convex grind down to 0.009", hand sanded, coffee etched. The spine thickness is 3.5mm tapering down to 1mm. Choil rounded for comfort.
STEEL: Hitachi Blue #2 core heat treated to RC63, stainless steel cladding.
HANDLE: Stabilized curly Koa, African Blackwood ferrule, copper and micarta accents
