Here’s a pocket fixed blade with San mai steel. The core steel is 1095 and the cladding is 8670 with pure nickel in between.

The handle is stabilized dyed curly maple. The lanyard allows it to be drawn with a tug.

The sheath is 6-7oz hand tooled leather. It is designed to be worn in the right hand pocket.

Dimensions
Blade - 2 1/2” tip to handle
OAL - 6 1/2”

Price - sold shipped to US.IMG_1500.jpegIMG_1501.jpegIMG_1502.jpegIMG_1503.jpegIMG_1506.jpeg

That’s a beauty.
The description sounds like 5 layers or GoMai.
GLWS!!
Technically it is go-mai. I call it San mai because the nickel is really just an accent piece. I also do Damascus San mai when I get Damascus from Alabama Damascus and forge weld it to a core steel. I call that Damascus San mai even though the Damascus has a lot of layers.
