I bought this beautiful Bailey custom knife in 2010 from Matt Bailey and have been the only owner. It has never been carried, used or sharpened.
The knife is a san mai recurve. The core steel is 1084 and the outer layers are A203E. The A203E has a sort of a pattern to it when it is etched.
The handle is black linen and tan canvas micarta laminate.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled to replicate the look of the san mai.
The blade is just under 5" from tip to handle. The OAL is just under 10".
