Recently finished, this set is one of my own semi - custom creations, using high quality factory ground & finished blades. 3/32" thick stock,440C ss ,Rc 57-58 .
Both knives have stabilized, book matched curly maple , from Mark at Burl Source.
Pins are gold ( brass) and the Santoku has 1/8" size & parer has 3/32" size. I peen the pins prior to finishing out the handles, this adds for " holding " strength.
The spines of the knives at the top of the blade & all around the handle have a "slack belt" finish, this adds a slight radius that adds in hand comfort. The handles are not too thick, but not too thin either & will prove comfortable ,especially when doing longer cutting, peeling, chopping of food preparation,in the kitchen or camp, too.
The Santoku is fl;at ground, with satin finish,OAL is 10-7/8" with 6" of edge.
The parer is hollow ground ,satin finish ,OAL is 7" with 3' of edge.
My price includes shipping in the States & Paypal fee's
$OLD
