Prices and descriptions listed below. If you give me an "I'll take it" send me an email as well. Price below includes Priority Mail shipping and Delivery Confirmation. If you want to pay with paypal that is fine if you include the 4% for fees. International sales ok but shipping of your choice is extra and I am not responsible for it once it is sent. I reserve the right to refuse sale for any reason. No trades please.

I had a shop credit to use so I bought some extra pieces. Price below is sticker price plus the 6% tax I was charged plus my estimated shipping.

Kookery , fortunatly in this case "over run" means that Busse had a government contract to make a certain amount of these knives for the military . They usually make more than what they are asked too in case of an increase in the order or to allow for defective ones to be scrapped and NOT put out in the order . This usually results in a number of knives being left over and then I guess held for a while in case more might be needed . After a certain amount of time it seems they are then sold off to the public at the knife shows or maybe a Ganza .

OK, thanks for the info. A few more questions:

What's a "Ganza"?

What does the military do with such expensive knives? Are the given as gifts, sort of like presentation pieces as awards for service?

The military knives that Busse makes go either to special units that have requested them I believe and are also made available in the military stores where the men and women who wish to buy themselves a higher end knife can do so .

A Ganza is a special release of sometimes one specially made knife and other times it seems more like over run military or over stock from knife shows , that Jerry himself decides to hold . They are announced a week or 2 before they happen and the selling takes place at a "apecific" time and lasts till the stock has run out . Which is usually hours or even minutes .

Thanks for the info. Where are the Ganzas announced?

They are announced on the Busse Forum here on Bladeforums. Most of us who are totally addicted check there at least one (who am I kidding) or 5 times a day.

I also don't believe Busse knives are sold in any PX or Base like was stated above but i could be wrong. I think they are all ordered by individuals or units. I seem to remember hearing that in 2011 they received a huge number of orders from the military.

OK, looks like I'm about to go a bit neurotic with checking for new posts. I don't own a Busse yet, but I'm interested. Thanks for all the advice everyone!
