Blade Steel 1095 Rockwell 55-58
Bolsters Norway Iron
Liners Steel
Handle Rosewood
Pinned Shield
Closed Length 3-3/4″
Weight 2.4 oz
Has been lightly used, carried, and sharpened.
Edge has been thinned out and is plenty sharp.
Tang corners have been slightly rounded off to make it more pocket friendly. Kick has been filed down a tad as the blade tip was sitting a bit proud in the closed. All better now.
Natural patina forming from slicing fruits and veggies.
Has half-stop. Easy pull of 3 or 4, but is still crisp and snappy.
Zero blade play.
Near centered in the closed.
Hairline gap in the backspring, small gap by the shield, uneven swedges, nothing major.
Beautiful knife, feels great in the hand and pocket. My only gripe is the thick blade makes it not the best slicer.
Comes with original box.
