For sale is a July 1981 Suwa dial Seiko Turtle 6309-7040. Case, crown, dial, hands, bezel, and bezel insert are original, and the bezel insert has gorgeous wabi-sabi. Case shows wear throughout consistent with a 40-year old tool watch.
Watch was fully serviced last month and a new Crystal Times sapphire crystal was installed, along with new gaskets and a new mainspring. Original crystal included. Empty lume pip was filled in by Jack at IWW. Comes with Uncle Seiko GL831 rubber strap, an Uncle Seiko oyster bracelet, and a new NATO strap that nicely matches the "water resist" text on the dial (gray nato in wristshot not included).
