This is a new self-defense Pocket Spike that I just finished. It is based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense tool. It is made from a 19th century butchers honing rod. Shows age and previous use with an original patina. Hand carved design. The solid steel tool measures 7 1/2" not including the stainless steel split ring and braided leather lanyard. The original makers mark reads, "I. WILSON" over "CAST STEEL". Comes with a custom wet-formed leather slip sheath covered in genuine ring tail lizard hide. Sheath is edge coated in black and hand sewn with olive-drab nylon stitching. Great defense tool in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket or glove-box. Great for your lady to carry in her purse or handbag. Handmade from reclaimed material. SOLD shipped anywhere within the US or its protectorates. Contact me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com

I want you to know, I think these are very cool. I am waiting on the perfect one. Fluted square or hex, sharp point with some stag or wood to hold onto. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. I'll let you know when I get one with that description made up.
Have a good one,
Bill
