Hi Folks

The second of my new Coruisks... this one with a green Maple burl spacer.

The blade is crafted in Böhler M390 stainless steel - a very high performance powder metallurgy 'super' steel. This modern steel enables the lustrous satin sheen on the blade and has excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention. detailed filework on the spine.

The brass bolster is solid and not just a ferrule (metal band around the wood). Behind the bolster is a spacer of stabilized Maple burl that has been dyed green with a beautiful 'black-hole' figure. The handle center is Ebony and the pommel is stabilized Bog Oak that is between 2000 and 5000 years old and also features a decorative mosaic pin at the back. The handle pin has been peined, domed and polished to a satin finish.

The sheath is also 100% handmade with saddle stitching and Maltese Cross toolwork to match the color and feel of the knife.
