Here is something fresh off the workbench... it's my first flamed oak handle

This 'Scavaig' Sgian Dubh has been crafted with a solid copper bolster (not just a furrule), a flame-licked and stabilized Oak handle centre that has been reclaimed from an old wine barrel and a pommel in Katalox. The handle pin has been peined, domed and polished to a satin finish with detailed filework on the spine. The sheath is also 100% handmade with saddle stitching and embossing.

• Blade thickness: 3.5mm (0.138")
• Blade length: 98mm (3.86")
• Overall length: 199mm (7.83")
• Weight without sheath: 120g (4.2oz)
• Weight with sheath: 150g (5.3oz)
• Handle material: Copper bolster, stabilized Oak, vulcanized fibre, copper liners and a Katalox pommel
• Fittings: Copper with pin in the pommel
• Traditional hidden tang design. Comes with a custom fitted sheath as seen.
