Good evening everyone,
I have for sale this evening a Shirogorov F95 in M390 with the Single Row Bearing System. I received this knife in like new condition, and I am listing it as LNIB or very lightly carried. Original box, paperwork, and microfiber cloth are included with the knife. I will probably regret letting this one go, but for now, it seems that my Sebenzas take all of the pocket time. It has been compared before, but this knife is like CRK quality in a flipper, with a clean, well-executed design and effective ergonomics.
I lightly touched up the factory edge on my Spyderco Ultrafine stone and carried it for a few days, but it saw no more use than a few envelopes. The edge is receipt slicing sharp, with no wear. There are what look like a few light scratches or striations in the finish on the spine of the blade, but I cannot find how such would have occurred, which leads me to assume that they are just striations in the finish. They are hard to see in person, let alone photograph, but I did my best to show them, as they truly are as faint as they appear. The handles show no sign of wear.
Lockup is early, as can be seen in the pictures, and rock solid. If the lockbar is gripped hard, the lockup will travel later, as is normal for the F95's, but it still unlocks smoothly, and returns to the original lockup with the next opening. There is no blade play at any point throughout the opening. This knife is a perfect example of the legendary Shiro action, being effortless, glassy smooth, and authoritative.
I would like to sell this one quickly, and given its near perfect condition, and the uncommon steel, I would like to see $OLD for this knife, far below the current market price. I am always happy to hear reasonable offers, though, so please feel free to contact me with any.
