I purchased this knife brand new from Recon1 when they were first released and it has been carried a couple of times to work. I used it to slice the tape on a few boxes but that is it other than being flipped open while reading reports which has smoothed it out tremendously, it was quite stiff when new.
There’s not a single mark on the knife that makes it look any different from the day I got it. I did rub a thin layer of mineral oil on the wood scales when I first opened it because they looked extremely dry.
It has not been sharpened, taken apart, altered, or ran through the dishwasher. The blade sits dead center and the action is super fast with a clean lockup.
Measures 8.86” overall with a 3.74” blade and weighs 4.3 oz.
