[SOLD] Siberian hunter made from meteorite damascus

I got this unique piece in a trade a few years back. Its made from metal sourced from the sikhote alin meteorite event in siberia. The blade was forged in 1947 and is in impecable, unused condition. There is an "unknown metal" in the blade which is the reddish patina you might notice. The handle is a beautiful cherry wood, likely redwood or cherry. The authenticity of the knife has been verified (the material), although the maker of the knife is still unknown to me. See the mark above the heel of the blade. If anyone could I.D this thing that in and of itself would be a victory. If youre a fan of damascus, this is the best example of it ive ever seen.

It comes with a plaque and a perfectly sized pistol carrying case. The person I traded it for was a reputable seller, and said to take no less than two thousand for it-- given this, and the uncertainty of the maker, I am instead asking 1,100 USD (shipping included), via venmo or check.
