Luck... I had an inkling there might be one or more single sales today because we know the next regular Friday sale is ninja swords but that the time would be announced, and Nate said they were out of stuff for normal sales and would be doing occasional one-offs as they finished.

So I had the For Sale by Maker: Fixed Blades subforum open in a tab and every time I think to do it today, I go to that tab and refresh. Got lucky and Nathan was posting at the same time I last refreshed. Missed all the other ones by hours or more though. Real envious of Burke's red ninja sword.

Repeatedly smash the F5 key, click the link, hit the END key, enter a single character, click "Post reply" button...

Then cry like a 3 year old because my internet is still too slow at work.
 
I eat, sleep and well, never mind, all while in front of my computer to just get a chance to purchase a finely crafted knife directly from Nathan. I haven't been successful yet, but my wife is losing patience. "Just one more day honey, please..."

Another beautiful knife... Congratulations to the magician today and best of luck to you men tomorrow. Until then, I will be living on the BF waiting, watching, one finger on the keyboard, ready at a moment's notice. LOL. Kidding of course. Have patience and with God's blessing, you too will grab one of these sweetheart and highly desired knives.

I've been spending way too much time refreshing around 3pm EST and haven't even been within 4 minutes or 5 replies yet. Going to give it a rest lol. The field knives hurt the most the other day.

If anyone wants to sell a Field Knife or an EDC, please get in touch. Otherwise, I'll be waiting for the next pre-sale or trying to get lucky on the exchange.

the End key does not put me into the reply box after clicking the link -- not sure why mine is different.

One dropped while you were typing this. Don’t stop refreshing. Don’t be discouraged. I literally quit blade forums for nearly 10 years out of frustration at not being able to get one of Nate’s blades back then. Don’t be like me.
