Up for sale is a used condition small Sebenza. I am the second owner and as far as I can tell neither of us used this knife at all. Besides putting a new edge on this knife the previous owner seems to have treated it like a baby.
I have touched up the edge on a Wicked Edge and polished the edge to the best of my ability. Excellent pointy tip, good bevel widths from heel to tip (18 DPS), and absolute razor sharp edge. From the right angle some slight scratches can still be seen from the stones, but in profile the edge is a mirror. As far as the stonewash goes, I can see absolutely no scratches/blemishes at all.
The handles are basically BNIB with almost no blemishes. There is one tiny snail trail right behind the lanyard, see pictures. The sandblast still has that new grainy feel to it. The Micarta is a nice color with a hint of red in them. It has the nice wood grain pattern with very skinny squiggly lines. Pocket clip is in excellent condition. The pivot can be tightened down all the way and the blade opens with ease, does not drop shut either so there is plenty of break in time left. I imagine this knife will be absolutely buttery smooth after some everyday use. I have handled a couple of smalls and one large, only this one has been this smooth out of the box. All the others could not be tightened down the whole way without being impossible to open one handed.
The lanyard has been unraveled and replaced with a nice two-tone 275 paracord lanyard which works like a charm. Super easy to grab with your thumb and index finger in a pinch.
FYI, the box has a double lug label slapped on the side of the box. The previous owner disclosed that this was confirmed as a mistake by CRK when he called in.
