(Prefix: The knife is very high quality and the approach is very traditional to me. Nevertheless, moderators please move the thread if it doesn't fit in this forum. Thx)
For sale is my Smith&Wesson "Outdoorsman" 6020 in "as new" condition. It has a hollow "Wessonwood" handle and a brass hilt and back screw.
It was built in the 70ies, probably 1974, when Smith & Wesson started their "Sportsmen Series" with a series of high-end knives made to custom knife standards. They were all designed by Blackie Collins.
The knife is in excellent, unused condition with hardly any storage marks from 40+ years of age. The blade has the original mirror polish and has never been sharpened.
It comes with the original Bianchi holster and the original box and paperwork, including a leaflet showing all the different models.
length 10.5 inch
blade 5.5 inch 440c
production number 8688.
I'm looking for $old net to me
Paypal only and only at verified Paypal address. Shipping and insurance to the US is included. Any other destinations is extra at your choice. The knife is in Germany.
Please take a close look on the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
At the moment I'm not interested in trades.
Thanks for looking and you can say "I will take it" here, pm or email.
Regards, Peter
P.S.: My photography is supposed to make the knife look good. But there is nothing "photoshopped"
