- SOLD: SOG NW Ranger

- Condition – Used, in good condition. I bought this knife as a spare when the NW Ranger was my favorite knife. As far as I remember, I never carried it or put it to any “real” use, but it probably was used a little. It has been sitting around in its sheath (with mineral oil on the blade) for about ten years. The edge has a few small nicks/imperfection in it; so I either used it, let the blade hit something I shouldn’t have, or it was that way when I bought it. The blade has some slight discoloration and/or marks, I assume from being stored in its sheath. There are some rub marks/scratches on the blade from the sheath or from use. This is the made in Taiwan version. NO box or anything else included, just the knife and sheath.
- Steel – AUS -8, as far as I know (Made in Taiwan version)
- Edge – Factory edge, with a few small nicks. They could easily be sharpened out, but it feels sharp as is.
- Handle – Kraton, as far as I know
- Fit and Finish – Pretty good. The guard mates to the blade well. The lanyard tube wasn’t installed perfectly. It’s a little sunken in on one side and sticks out on the other, and there is a little piece of rubber dangling there.
- Sheath – Leather, in good condition. The leather does have some imperfections.
