Sam Lurquin Hurak up for sale, not something one can normally find on the secondary market. Seems like the only time a Hurak becomes available for sale is when a collector who has more than one decides to pair down the duplicates in his/her collection.
And that's the case here. Roger Pinnock listed this perfect Hurak for sale in the Exchange recently, as a donation for sale, to assist the DesRosiers rebuilding project. He has more than one Hurak, or otherwise might have found another piece to donate. It sold (I bought it) at a much higher price than from maker, which was a consequence of his pricing and my desire to acquire another one - but both of us obviously had an interest in it selling at a higher price than normal, for the benefit of the DesRosiers.
And now the circle continues. Now that I've enjoyed owning two Huraks, I too am pairing down a collection duplicate. This is the Hurak I purchased from Roger. New, unused, absolutely no issues whatsoever, super hamon. Roger listed it for $xxxx, with sheath missing (never found) and that's the price I paid - it was a donation for a good cause, so the bucks were not so important. I would instead be selling the other Hurak I have, but it has a couple of small issues - and I simply don't care to push a problem onto someone else. So Roger's is the one that goes.
I am pairing it up with the original sheath from the other Hurak (it's a perfect fit) , so the buyer will have the whole package. The sheath is of extremely high quality and can be worn horizonal or vertical. It is as cool a design as the Hurak, seriously. I am pricing this somewhere close to maker's price, from what I understand it was during the Joe Paranee project.
$xxxx including shipping (conus, US buyers only). First I'll take it gets it.
