Hey everyone! Today I have my Aaron Wilburn Trapper with dyed stag covers up for sale or trade today. Looking for SOLD SOLD SOLD.
Here are some glamor shots
This a beautiful trapper slipjoint expertly made by mastersmith Aaron Wilburn. This is fairly rare knife; he doesn't release knives on a consistent schedule or quantity so finding one in the right pattern and materials is very difficult. This one features dyed stag covers and a beautifully filed backspring that shows off his accuracy and skilled handwork. The walk is perfectly smooth with a solid pull. The talk is loud and sharp, but I can confidently say there's a bit of spring slap if you let the knife go uncontrolled from the halfstop to the full close. The knife has been carried, but still in excellent condition and sharp as all hell.
The only reason I'm letting it go is because of its size: it has a 3-1/3" blade and a 4-1/4" closed length. It's a big one.
Thanks everyone!
