Show side: Clip side: Lockup: Centering: Pouch, COA, parts and knife:
This is Evo 3.0 #150. It has been carried. The blade is still sharp, but could use a sharpening. It is centered and the lockup is minimal, but solid. All spare parts, skiff thick washers and a set of skiff bearings are included.

The knife arrived from CKF with poor action considering it was running on bearings. It would drop shut, and open fine, but it wasn’t smooth. I was also surprised to find out that it had zero loctite on any of the hardware, so the pivot was easily removed without any tools.

I took it apart right away to clean and found some small divots in the blade where it had been over tightened or dropped. I switched out the bearings for skiff thick washers and didn’t think much of it because I don’t particularly enjoy a finger guillotine. I also added loctite 243 to all the hardware.

A few weeks later, the detent ball popped out. I know I could have swapped out the lockbar insert, but instead I reached out to CKF and never heard back. I checked with Jon Sorenson, the designer, and he offered to take a look at it.

Fast forward 3 months, I finally have the knife back. While chatting with Jon, we determined that the detent ball ramp was too shallow and that hitting the edge of the blade while closing knocked the detent ball out. It was pressed back in and also modified the detent ball ramp on the blade to prevent it from knocking the ball out again. Finally Jon took down the sharp edge of the blade adjacent to the finger choil to make it a little less bitey.

Long story short, it’s a nice knife, but I’ve moved on.

I’m looking to get SOLD SOLD SOLD $600 PPFF. That includes shipping in the US and insurance.

Hit me up if you’ve got any questions!
