Here is a bowie I have been working on while getting orders out the door. It's a handful of W2 steel that balances out nicely in the hand. I'm offering this one without a sheath for those who have a preferred sheath maker or with a sheath ( not yet made). The tang on this knife is a full 7/8 inch wide where it comes out of the ricasso. Here are the specs:

Style- Bowie
Steel- W2 X approximately .350 thick
AOL- 15 3/4 inches
HT- In house, the blade was claycoated and differentially heat treated, I did not etch the blade to bring out the hamon but it can still be seen if you look for it.
Grind- Flat with a drawn false edge.
Blade- 10 inches
Finish- Hand sanded to 2000 grit then back sanded with 800 grit for a nice satin finish
Handle- 5 inches
Wood- Stabilized Amboyna burl with double palm swells- Feels really sweet in the hand. The pictures do not do the wood justice although I tried.
Hardware- Fitted and pressed on guard made from 416 stainless flat bar. Brass and black G10 spacer
No sheath offered at this time. If you want me to make a sheath email so we can discuss it.
Asking 365.00 shipped in the USA or Canada
Paypal, USPS M/O, or Certified Check preferred. Email for other options
