Recently finished...
The SpeedLine 5.0" Utility - a smaller, general purpose knife for the kitchen.
With a generous, rounded handle, a rounded spine and finger guard/choil - this knife can be used all day. Brass Corby bolts front and back of the handle and brass pins in the centre. The handle is in a raspberry colored Jute Micarta. Micarta is a synthetic material that is made from resin impregnated material (Jute in this case), will not warp or crack and is impervious to water - very tough and will easily last a lifetime. The balance point of this knife is towards the handle - between the first brass bolt and the small pins.
A no-nonsense kitchen tool that looks the part and will last a lifetime!
Blade thickness: at handle - 1.5mm (0.06"), 1" from the tip - 1.0mm (0.06")
Blade length: 125mm (5")
Overall length: 255mm (10")
Blade height (at heel): 40mm (1.6")
Weight: 152g (5.4oz)
Balance point: between the first brass bolt and teh small pins on the handle
Handle material: Jute Micarta with white G-10 liner. Brass Corby bolts and pins.
