This is a new self-defense Spike Knife tool/weapon made by me, Bill Goodwin. It is unused in its present condition. The magnetic tip is hand carved. Made from 19th century hardened tool steel. Steel shows age and previous use. Has some original patina. Measures 10 1/2" total length. The tool is solid steel. The original maker mark reads, "H. S. B. & CO." over, "OVB", "OUR VERY BEST". Was originally a Hibbert, Spencer and Bartlett butchers honing rod. The original pewter guard shows some age and previous use. The bocote wood handle is new. Comes with a new custom leather belt sheath. Great defense tool in an emergency situation or just a kick-ass ice-pick. Handmade from reclaimed 19th century magnetic steel. No two are exactly alike.
