For anyone considering this K2, if you have any concerns about the knife as far as edge taking, durability, rusting, too big???? Don't give it a second thought. I own one and can attest it is a fantastic knife. Easily able to be a harder use knife and man does it cut. Just check out it's performance on Ankerson's page "ranking of steels" http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/793481-Ranking-of-Steels-in-Categories-based-on-Edge-Retention-cutting-5-8-quot-rope. I know there is a review here some place but you can find that yourself. I have used and used mine and found the temper, profile, edge taking and lockup outstanding.
These aren't being produced any more so I can see the pricing only going up over the years.
