Condition: Unused, excellent condition. But please note, there is some side-to-side blade play (no real up and down play that I can discern). Also, it is a little tight in the opening action, but snaps open nicely and has a stronger spring that a few other Pingos I've owned. The scales are really beautiful. As with most stag scales, there's a little variation in the thickness here and there, but they're relatively well matched.
It does not come with the original scales or the wire clip. Note also that while the stag is drilled for a wire clip (right hand tip up), because of the shape of the stag a wire clip does not fit well (it sort of sticks up). So I recommend that you leave it without a clip. There may be a workaround that I'm not thinking of, but again, I no longer have the wire clip. If you want to make an attempt at getting one to fit you can always order clips directly from Spyderco.
Finally, note that these scales were built for the FRN Pingo, not the Ti one in Elmax. I actually bought a Ti Pingo a while back just for these scales, but it did not fit properly (the internals are different on the Ti one).
Price: $100 via PayPal goods and services, shipping via USPS priority mail. U.S. only, sorry. I hope this is a fair price taking everything above into account, especially because (1) the scales themselves cost more than that and (2) the Pingo is discontinued and not too easy to find for a good price nowadays.
