I reground this to .0016" behind the edge and gave it a Millie style pointy tip. It might as well be a lockback Military. Solid lock up, though if you manhandle it you can feel and hear an ever so slight tick, but it's your typical "Seki City lock rock", and nothing to worry about.
I also reprofiled the handle to be more neutral, chamfered the scale edges, and also chamfered the lock bar, which was finger cutting sharp before. All in all this knife is much more ergonomic and user friendly than it was out of the box, and actually cuts stuff now (the factory edge was unbelievably obtuse for a Spyderco).
After doing all that... I stuck it on a wall magnet, and used it to cut clean cardboard maybe a handful of times at most. Just not a knife I use, and so I have no need to own it, even if I think it is beautiful. Someone's getting a very good deal here.
Box and papers included.
Asking SOLD.
Price is via PayPal G&S (I will provide the email address in private messaging) and includes expedited shipping with full tracking and insurance.
First "I'll take it" gets priority. Upon payment, please also confirm your shipping address.
Thank you for looking!
