Sold.
Here's your chance to grab a discontinued Spyderco balisong. I bought this because the typical 5" handle / 4" blade bali was not a good size for real everyday carry. I wound up not carrying it anyhow, but not because it was the wrong size!
This one flips very silently and smoothly. I don't know how they nailed a balisong so well with so little experience on them.
It has a spring latch, G10 handles, and was made at their Golden, CO facility. Blade is 154CM, from 1/8" thick stock. Screw-together construction.
If you're a flipper, save this one as a carry piece, as it flips quite a bit faster than a full size bali, which you likely practiced with. The round holes in the end of the handles open things up for more tricks. Even as a basic opening move, I can just pinch the hole with my finger and flip it open in one smooth motion. While smaller than a full size bali, I can still get a solid four-finger hammer grip on it.
$200 $180 shipped CONUS, or local pick-up near me in the northern Chicago suburbs for $195 $175. I'll ship other places with prior arrangement. I don't have the original box.
I pictured it below next to a full size Bradley for size reference.
